The Good Stuff

Whether you're viewing special settings, receiving notifications, or trying out new tags, these updates will help you stay on top of everything! Let what matters most take center stage: your students' learning.

View Login Sessions

All Formative users can access their Login Sessions page to view current and past sessions within the last 30 days. This function helps manage security threats such as stolen passwords, logged-in sessions on unknown devices or remote devices, and more.

Enabling or Disabling Notifications

Teachers have the option to get notifications when students edit responses after the work has already been graded. Notifications will only go out for answers that were edited after teachers manually graded them; these notices indicate that the teacher may need to go back and change that grade based on the newly edited response.

Modified Default Color Palette

We have modified the default color palette for Score Thresholds to a higher contrast one which users can still customize in Settings.

Creating Sections on a Formative

Premium teachers can organize formatives by creating sections that group together several questions. This feature allows teachers to maintain the order of sections that should be answered in a certain sequence; it also offers the option to randomize the question order within each section.

New Formative Tag Types

We’ve added new Formative Tag Types that include Interventions, Tutorials, Summative Assessment, Pre-Test, and Post-Test! These additional options help teachers track and filter data.
