A selection of the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) questions are now available in Formative's public library! Missouri educators can access a selection of individual questions to help students prepare for the state's annual assessments.

What is the MAP?

The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) is the statewide testing system administered by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

MAP assessments measure student mastery of the Missouri Learning Standards.

What grades and subjects are assessed on MAP?

Grades 3-8:

  • English Language Arts (ELA)
  • Mathematics
  • Science (grades 5 and 8)

High School End-of-Course (EOC): 

  • Algebra I
  • English II
  • Biology
  • Government

How is the MAP administered?

The MAP is administered each spring in Missouri public schools. 

Most assessments are delivered online, though paper-based testing may be available for students who require approved accommodations, as determined by the MissouriState Department of Education.
