As a learning experience designer, Daniela Garay Riley mainly manages the development of high-quality ELA quizzes on Newsela and Formative's ELA Item Bank. She holds a Master's degree in Instructional Design and Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish. Prior to joining Newsela, Daniela spent 8 years teaching elementary school in dual-language programs. She is dedicated to creating resources that are useful, relevant, and accessible for all learners.
