Jamie Richard, M.Ed. hosts a monthly webinar, Ed Current which features timely topics in education for change makers. Before joining Newsela, Jamie taught secondary ELA in Pennsylvania, South Carolina and California for eight years, and was also a school leader. Jamie was also a finalist for Teacher of the Year and received the STAR award for the highest student growth in Pennsylvania.
