Dr. Rani Goyal joined Santa Rosa City Schools as a Director in the Teaching and Learning department in November 2017. She enjoys serving the community in a variety of roles as a Director and has a passion for supporting the collective efficacy of teachers and schools to support student learning. Prior to joining SRCS, she served as a high school principal in four different school districts between 2004 and 2017. The schools she served ranged in size and focus from a comprehensive high school of 2,500 students with over 250 staff members to a charter school that enrolled 200 students with 18 staff members. Before becoming an administrator, Dr. Goyal taught history for eight years in middle and high school.
