Tori joined Newsela’s Content team in June 2022 before transitioning to the role of School Engagement Manager in December 2023. A former high school social studies teacher in Maryland, she now lives in Philadelphia. Tori earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. As a School Engagement Manager, she partners with educators to seamlessly integrate Newsela’s products into their instruction, ensuring students have access to engaging, differentiated content that builds literacy skills and fosters a love of learning.
